I have a lot of expectations from This one.  Reasons being two…

1. Its adapted from hollywood classic “Mary Poppins”, and I just loved its concept when I read it.

2. I can imagine Rani Mukherji in that fairy tale costume, and that alone makes me glad beyond anything.
And, I have a strong gut feeling that This will be her come back film.

3. Kunal Kohli has got the makings of a master story-teller, and can do wonders.
The promo looks classy….not overdone….with no unwanted spotlight on the hero n heroine. Special mention for the cool background score and great special effects actually the only thing i am curious abt regarding the movie is the music by SHANKAR EHSAAN LOY. they rocked in 2008, with 4 suerhit albums, expecting another on the same lines from them.

Different people Different Opinion on Jannat

Climax was perfect in Jannat…

the guy who is in love with spellbound with the girl doesnt care of his life…first he surrenders even though he was not murderer and then dies smiling while picking his love sign (the ring)…

Rahi baat police ki…they werent aware of the ring thing…they were focussed on the revolver…par ek hindustani police bhi tha jo pyar ko samjhta tha…!!!

But not only climax..the movie had other interesting parts too….

ya thats the thing…the main police person knew emraan and wanted to save him always..but rest werent ..rest police ko apna duty karna tha..and unko door se nahi dikhega ki ring utha raha emraan..they thought revolver uthaayi..so had to shoot at him..
wud say ordinary storyline….dint hv much to offer….but still perfomances was kinda surprise….coz atleast i cant expect emraan hashmi to do “real” “acting”…..good to know he somewhat can…..as of ending….why cant we hv happy ending….i mean jab he was almost on the right track den wat was the need to kill him…..newyz…it was a nice movie n gets 3 on 5 from me

one question more……those who havnt seen film..pls avoid..

In which nation police fires directly a suspect (not a killer here) 2 death…??..first they will fire at his legs or shoulder only…here its total foolin…Mahesh bhatt want emran 2 die…tats it..as of awarapan…….they killed him…And tell me who will felt sorry 4 this charactor when hes killed..??…nyway i didnt feel…….n in Awarapan…eventhough hes a gangster aftr doin tat much 4 the gal…we feel somethng 4 him……

I didnt like the film..first or in second time……but one thing , i dont knw which of the two bhatts r selectin the songs…but whoevr it is coz of him music is gr88…n actin was gud…but 4 me the most important story was pure failure…many more 2 point..but this was the mosttt..

why we like old hindi songs

 Old songs are melodious be it a fast track or a slow one. The lyrics are audible, with meaning and the singers did full justice to the songs they were singing at that time. The compositions were almost all original and lots of research was done on each song. old song are very soft in listening .and some of them are very inspirational song .old songs are listened by everyone but new song be shown than listening Old Songs, old songs r referred to songs sung in the eras of Rafi, Kishore, Lata and older than these people (this is for u Shyam). I like old songs bcoz of their lyrics, singers and the emotions in each song. U will find the old songs for any situation in our real life. Many songs will literaly take u in their own mood of joy, sadness, emotional etc.. Few songs can really make u cry especially lataji’s songs). And this is where old hindi songs differes from all other songs.

It means-
There appear as many gems as ever happened even today;
It’s all about my illusion on what I liked n heard in my uth rather than any quality in them.
But how about-
I no longer like some songs that I used to in my uth; n vice versa; I like some new songs also.
I can’t bear watchin thru most films that I ‘liked’ in my uth; those films minus their songs mean nothing 2 me 2day.

Contrast those from present generation that like d oldies with d opposite n see how they vary in quality n quantity.

A. R. Rahman has composed and sung the first English song of his career, “Pray for me Brother”. The second “first” is that its video, shot by the renowned music video director Bharat Bala, is the world’s first shot exclusively for mobile phones — in the vertical format

“Poverty and hunger have no religion or gender and this song is to inspire people to do a little bit about the world. We all believe in a creator and even a prayer can change things,” Rahman said at the launch of Pray For Me Brother and its music video.
Explaining the reason for singing the song in English, Rahman said it was like a ’statement from India.’
